Jury Decision — The jury board reserves the right to give more than one Award or not to confer Awards in any or all categories and sub-categories. The jury board may also grant an Honorable Mention to any selected project instead of an Award.
Additional Requirements for Shortlisted Candidates — Entrants whose projects are shortlisted shall be required to submit a supplementary video presentation not exceeding two minutes in length. Specific instructions will be provided upon shortlisting.
Site Visit — The jury board may, at its discretion, also appoint independent reviewers to visit the shortlisted project sites.
Declaration & Withholding — Award administration is based on a personal declaration, duly submitted by the architect, firm or organization of the architect. Should a winning entry come under dispute prior to the ceremony, the organizer reserves the right to withhold or withdraw the award.
Amendments to Rules — “The Delta Award for Architecture” reserve the right to amend the Rules of Participation at any time and without prior notice.
Project Legality — Receipt of an award does not regularize a project’s status where it is found implicated in any legal dispute or in contravention of statutory laws, regulations, or revenue obligations.
Submission Deadline Extension — The Awards Director may extend the submission deadline should circumstances so require. Time shall be announced in the social media/website before the deadline.
Ineligibility — Employees, associates, and family members of the Sponsor; Jury Members and their advisors; and any individual involved in the administration of the current award cycle are barred from participation.
Posthumous Awards — Should an individual selected for an award pass away prior to the ceremony, the award - including The DELTA Master Architect Award - may be conferred posthumously.
Entry Care — While every care is taken in the handling of submitted materials, the authority accepts no responsibility for loss or damage during their custody.
